A Picture Speaks A Thousand Words

Memories Scattered

As we drove through the Florida Keys, we were surrounded by debris along the once beautiful Overseas Highway. Time stood still as we noticed this picture out of place among the garbage. Who is this man? Did his loved one survive the storm? Should I take the photo? Maybe try to find the owner? I decided to leave it. Perhaps someone will come by and see it and return it to the owners. I cant imagine all my personal items and memories scattered on the side of the road in a pile of trash. My father use to say "One man's trash is another man's treasure". I don't think this is what he had in mind. What once was a treasure is now trash.

This is why we have established Open Door Relief Center. People have lost everything. Join us to make the greatest impact in helping others. Nothing says more to these who have lost so much than a helping hand. Everyone can do something.
